This Privacy Policy explains how Dorans-bot ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our Discord bot, website (dorans.bot), and related services (collectively, the "Service").

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information:

a. Discord Account Data

  • Discord user ID and username
  • Discord server (guild) membership information
  • Server roles and permissions (to determine admin access)

b. League of Legends Game Data

  • Summoner name, tag line, and PUUID (player unique identifier)
  • Match history, game statistics, and performance data
  • Rank, tier, and league points
  • Champion mastery and gameplay metrics

c. Website Usage Data

  • Authentication session data (managed by Clerk, our authentication provider)
  • Basic analytics data such as page views and performance metrics (via Vercel Analytics)

We do not collect email addresses, passwords, payment card information, IP addresses, or any sensitive personal information. Payment processing for Premium subscriptions is handled entirely by Discord.

2. How We Use Your Information

The information we collect is used to:

  • Provide core features: match tracking, leaderboards, statistics, and player profiles
  • Link your League of Legends accounts to your Discord identity
  • Display server-specific leaderboards and community statistics
  • Deliver match alerts and notifications to configured Discord channels
  • Manage Premium subscription features for Discord servers
  • Improve and maintain the Service

3. Data Sharing & Third-Party Services

We do not sell your data. We share data only with the following third-party services as necessary to operate the Service:

  • Riot Games API — to retrieve your game data and match history
  • Discord API — to deliver bot functionality, messages, and notifications
  • Clerk — to handle website authentication via Discord OAuth
  • Vercel — to host the website and collect anonymous analytics

Each of these services has its own privacy policy governing how they handle your data.

4. Data Retention & Automatic Cleanup

We retain data only as long as necessary to provide the Service:

  • Match data is automatically deleted after 30 days
  • Active game data is cleaned up within 2 days of game completion
  • Account links are retained while you remain a member of a tracked server
  • Discord user data for users who leave all tracked servers is cleaned up automatically on a weekly basis

5. Data Deletion Requests

You may request to have your data deleted at any time by contacting us through our Discord support server. Upon verification of your identity, we will permanently remove your data from our systems. You can also unlink your accounts at any time through the bot or website dashboard.

6. Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your data, including secure database storage and encrypted connections. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or the minimum age required by Discord in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with data, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.

8. Public Data

Certain data — such as your summoner name, match history, rank, and leaderboard position — is displayed publicly on guild pages on the Dorans-bot website. This is core to the functionality of the Service. By linking your account, you consent to this public display of your game statistics.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date and are effective immediately upon posting.
